Beginning as a childhood love of drawing heroes and monsters, my art has become a way to share the daily experiences of living with mental illness. But these monsters are not quite like those I drew as a kid.

 

They don't combat heroes, but are part of them. Although, at times, they would seem locked in battle, their relationship is far more complex…
